Sample at the roost pours a clear gold with some lacey wispy white head. Sausage and sawdust and straw nose. Like you threw wet straw on a campfire. Grist is nice and the grain still feels present. Earthy and smokey. Flinty finish with a touch of astringency.

Can - perfectly clear light gold - lively carbonation - intense but inviting smokiness in the nose - super clean and crisp - crisp maltiness and noble hop bitterness make way for a swell of campfire smokiness before a light sweetness develops to cut the smoke and slight minerality in the finish - yes, please.

On tap at Bierstadt. Pours a golden orange with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong smoked malt, peat, biscuit, grain. Light body, smoke, wheat, straw, grain, nice dry finish, enjoyed this.
