Hazy and pale, not much head. Floral, touch of celery, has a fair bit of lacto. Good, complex Berliner Weisse, has a classic taste.

On tap at Rowley, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice lactic character — not the usual yogurty nonsense, but a nice buggy, soft lacto. Flavour is full of that nice lactic character upfront, with gentle tart citrus, some bugs, and soft wheaty notes. Now this is the kind of Berliner I'm looking for when I order the style adjunct-free. Very nicely made.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is lemon zest, wheat, funky. Slick body, citrus, wheat, wood, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

From a 50 cl bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with no head. Vinous aromas of musty white grapes. Flavors are tart fruit and salty citrus rind.
