4oz pour at the brewery pours a clear copper with a ring of white head. Nose has malty notes, some mild spice, a little muted spruce, a little metallic too. Flavor has some root veg, a little old penny, some more mild spruce, a little cherry, a bit vegetal like roasted red pepper. Watery finish.

Tastes extremely light for a Belgian. Spice is basically non-existent in this. Basically tastes like an amber with a hint of Belgian florals. Light sour finish. A bit of a miss fire.

4 ounce draft pour at Bluejacket poured into a snifter. Specially poured from the back compliments of Josh Chapman, thanks! Pours a mostly opaque dark caramel brown with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, spice, light funk, Brett. Tasting notes of bitter notes, floral notes, citrus, light Brett. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty nice now, the Brett still seems a bit young but I’m sure this will be even better with some age.
