750ml Bottle - Hazy gold/amber in colour. Musty aroma with hints of barnyard and leaves. Buckthorn, grapefruit zest and musty notes feature in the tart and rather sharp taste.

750mL bottle, pours a murky golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out lots of brett funk, with lots of citrus skins and some wood. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart dry citrus skins, brett funk and medium acidity on the finish. Quite complex, with maybe slightly too high acidity for my taste, but it's still very well constructed. Very enjoyable.

Bottle, 75cl. Shared by Meilby. A lightly hazy beer, golden in colour and with a small white head. Wet sour socks, sour berries and orange and lemon juice in the aroma. Luckily the sour socks diminish quickly. It’s medium bodied, tart and softly carbonated, with lots of sour orange berries and orange. Lemon juice too. Lasting sour fruity finish. A challenging beer, nice though, but it would be hard to finish a bottle alone. 160102

(750ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Oct 13 2015) Pours very hazy medium gold with a small white head and no lace. Aroma is lemon yoghurt, sea buckthorn, salty cheese, soft oak, a little peach, funky barnyard and hay. Taste is sour, salty and funky with a core of lemony lactic tartness, sea buckthorn, cheesy funk, a bit of peach, herbs and hay, and horse blanket. Towards the finish, drier and even funkier with leather and hay taking over a bit more from the sea buckthorn and salt. Still fruity in the aftertaste though. Lightish body with above average, active carbonation. This is a really sharp and brisk sour as befits the sea buckthorn addition, but with a big helping of funk alongside. Maybe could be more fruit-heavy but it’s good as is.

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of cheese, manure, sour berries. Sour flavour, light sea buckthorn. Finish tripe. I love Brekeriet, and I’m quite sure this is a nice beer, but I personally cannot drink it, the tripe association is just too strong for me.

Flavour is composed of tart funky pineapple, bit of acid lacto acid. Palate is really sharp puckering acid. Some lingering yougurt and sour milk.
