The fiery color and unique thirst quenching hop profile give this amber ale a signature all its own. Hand-selected Cascade hops from the NorthWest United States provide a distinct citrus flavor, while still allowing for a subtle malty sweetness.

Draught at the brewpub. Good caramelly aroma, hint of grassy hops. Not so bitter, but well-balanced.

Copper/amber coloured body with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt, nuts and not much else. Medium to Light-bodied; Mild malty flavours with caramel, nuts, raisins and some pitted fruits in. Aftertaste shows mild characteristics with only some nuts and malt going through - pretty bland indeed. Overall, a decent beer, good as an escape from some of the stronger beers, but that’s about it. I sampled this beer on draught in June 2010.

An orange amber ale with a thin creamy white head. A nice lightly hopped malty aroma, nice c-hops, resinous. In mouth, a smooth caramel with decent c-hops, not astringent, light citrus, short, medium bodied, grainy finish. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 28 2010.

Location: Tap at the Brew Pub , 8/7/09
Overall Impression: Not particularly hoppy, this is an alright beer. I didn't find it particularly exciting, but not particularly bad either, it just kind of is. Decent, drinkable.

2008-09-05, draught at the brewpub as Velvet (nitro keg), 5-3-5-2-10=25
Amber color with the obvious yoghurt-like head. It has some caramel aroma and flavor, of course with a smooth mouthfeel. Simple.
2007-10-06, draught at the brewpub, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Amber color. Light hop aroma. Dry mouthfeel, quite good caramel flavor with a bit of a quality hopping.

A hazy orange-amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is very light with notes of hops and malt. The flavor is very nice with a good toffee and caramel back ground, before a nice bitter citrusy dry hoppy note appears. A nice thirst quencher.
