750mL bottle, pours black, no head. Aroma has plenty of big bourbon barrels, cocoa, vanilla, and dark sugars. Flavour is intensely complex, with huge bourbon, dark sugars, cocoa, and toffee. Ridiculous complexity here, with intense bourbon and sugars. Phenomenal.

Pours black, no head. Scent is full-on bourbon, smoothness and greatness. Loud, but not too overly boozy. Taste is full, roasty, super smooth, bit boozy, very fine. Superb. Way, way, way better than all the other versions of BBT i've had (and somehow, i've had quite a few vintages and varieties). Didn't see this one coming, but this truly is exceptional - this year specifically. Sampled early 2025 and it's truly great right now !

Bottle, 750 ml, courtesy of Hrvoje. Shared with him and MiroB. Intensive chocolate and bourbon. Some vanilla. Sweeter than 2023, more warming, full bodied and almost easy drinkable. Nice barrel and bourbon. Well rounded. Beautiful.

Bottle at the Boise tasting. Pours near black. Dark malts, chocolate, leather, coffee, dark fruit. Tasty
A very happy 2023 everybody! This seems like the good opportunity to finally open this. And it does not disappoint. Is it vastly different than other great BA stouts? No.. is it amazingly balanced, rich and delicious? Hell yes. Treacle, roast, bourbon.
Bucket list item. Thick, boozy, heavy barrel, coffee, leather, some brown sugar. Really smooth and rich, perfectly in balance. Pretty much exactly what I expected, brilliant. Overhyped, obviously, but brilliant.
