Black with a large foamy brown head. Sweet and boozy with bourbon, vanilla, chocolate cake and caramel. Incredibly long finish. Full bodied. Marvelous!

Can - deep black pour with a thick tan lace - nose of fudge, marshmallow, vanilla, faint hints of bourbon - creamy texture, soft carbonation - flavor is sweet marshmallow and vanilla, but tempered by a moderate acidity and some tart, tannic notes - some oxidation and mild oak - finish is lightly warming and is the only place the bourbon shows itself ever so slightly - I appreciate that it isn’t barrel-heavy, but I do wish it was a little more evident - it’s like they poured it in bourbon barrels for five minutes and then dumped it back out - anyway, still a decent stout.

16oz can from Half Time. Near black pour, thin beige head. Aroma is chocolaty first, followed by roasty malts. Taste starts sweet, lots of chocolate, light roasty bitterness. Simple, tasty and little sign of the 10% ABV.

16 oz. can 2021 vintage. Aroma has a good amount of coffee with vanilla. Flavor shows brownie batter, vanilla, in a thicker body. It would almost get too sweet except for the fact that it shows a lot of strong alcohol. Mild oak with a strong booze lingering.
