At The Bruery Terreux, we like to push the boundaries for exploring the art of making wildly traditional beer. In this instance, we stomped cherums with our feet before the fermentation of the tart wheat beer took place in a single open wine barrel. After nature took its course, we finished it with a bright dose of Meyer lemon zest.

Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with small white head. The aroma is tropical fruit and wheat. Thin body, citrus, pineapple, wheat, nice tartness, very good.

375ml bottle pours an orangey gold with some wispy, white head. Nose is bad, tomato, pomegranate, lavender, some cherry, potpourri. Flavors of tomato, celerey, lavender. Not good.

375 ml bottle shared at the DC RateBeer May tasting. Mostly clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of wine, lemon zest, spice. Tastes of wine, lemon zest, spice, funk, tart acidic notes. Light body with a dry finish.

375ml bottle, at the May 2018 DC RB Tasting. Poured a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma was very floral, kind of lavender, some soapy notes. Light tarness, some sweet character. Touch of grape, vinous notes. Interesting.

From a 375 ml at the RB gathering May 2018. Pours a hazy pinkish gold with an off white head. Aroma of floor cleaner. Flavors of tart white grapes and lemon. Hmmm.
