Bottle, 22oz. A black to dark brown one, oily, with lots of floaties. Some bubbles on top. The aroma has lots of roasted malts, with dark chocolate, coffee, nuts, alcohol, coconut, cocoa, cinnamon, brown sugar, oak hints and alcohol. Caramel sauce. It's full-bodied, warming, sweet and smooth, with lots of dark malt flavors. Coconut, hazelnut, chocolate, roasted oats, some cinnamon and a good dash of brown sugar. Then even more toffee and heavy caramel sauce. Lasting finish. This was delicious indeed, not too fond of the coconut floaties though. 211231

Bottle at share. yay! Let's kickoff the weekend. Typical pour, not much different from the rest of the week. Aroma fills the nose with lush chocolate, coconut and cinnamon, sweet. Taste adds hazelnuts to the mix, recalling a chocolate candy out of the assorted box, all sweet and bursting with gooey deadence. Maybe through a cordial chocolate in there too. This is what you work all week for.

Pitch black pour with a short-lived dark tan head and some ugly-looking coconut residue floating to the surface. Huge hazelnuts up-front, followed by coconut, bourbon, vanilla, some sherry, cinnamon, chocolate, cherries, cacao nibs. Delicious stuff, if only a bit too sweet. Solid dessert stout.
