Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is oak, berry, leather, yeast. Thin body, oak tannin, berry, cherry, light tartness, good.

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours near black with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has has sweet grains and tart black cherry with a bit of graham cracker backing. Flavor is more sour black cherry forward with grains, tobacco and a touch of chocolate supporting.

One of those black sours that didn’t necessarily work out. Plum, very sour cherry. Pours red. Very acidic. Tap at Savor.

Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a dark ruby red color with a small tan head. Aroma was dark chocolate, tart cherry notes. Flavor was similar, roasted malts with some tart cherries.

A: Pitch black colour, the base beer seems to be a Porter so no surprise there. The off white foam doesn’t ever become unmanageable but it is long lasting and the lacing it leaves as it shrinks is hugging the sides of my glass.

S: Big aromas of tart black cherries and equally, roasted malt. When I take deep whiffs, I sense the presence of coffee.

T: Black cherry tartness, roasted malt, coffee, and yeah, just like the label says, cranberries. An additional source of the tart.

M: Medium bodied and carbonation.

O: Pretty pricey but most caged and corked 750s are these days. (÷$16)
I bought 2 bottles. I will let the other sit for a spell.
