Brooklyn Shackmeister Ale was developed for the sort of fresh-off-the-grill staples that everyone loves. A slightly sweet malt base and a refreshing burst of hops makes it a welcome companion to griddled burgers, crisp fries, snappy hot dogs and beyond.

On tap at Shake Shack. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of bread and light grain with some hay underlying. Flavor has lots of straw and grain and a bit of hay.

16 oz plastic cup draft at the Shake Shack in the Las Vegas Airport. The pour is clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is grain cracker malt, hint of fruit sweetness and grass. The taste is fresh grain malt, soft natural malt sweetness and the finish is pretty dry with grass in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and the dry grass. Simple, though well made and tasty.

12.08.2019, tap @ Shake Shack, Shinjuku:
Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting head, slightly hazy dark orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish floral, weeds, leafs, hay, sour grass, flowers, minerals, light malts, hops, hints of pine needles and citrus. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, weeds, old leafs, hay, minerals, bark, grass, moss, harsh hops, light malts. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.
