A Classic Jersey-ism is “regular coffee.” Here when you order a “regular coffee” at any place you trust to make a pork roll and cheese you get a paper cup of coffee with “milk and 2 sugars” rather than a “black coffee that hasn’t had the caffeine removed.” We added a coffee blend from our neighbors at Fair Mountain Coffee Roasters to a high gravity golden cream ale, contributing our “milk and 2 sugars” for an elevated version of classic plain coffee. Drink Regular Coffee because running over a black beer with coffee is no way to get things done.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: bronzed yellow transparent color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head and dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet coffee tones with sweet cream
Flavor: sweet through those aromas, mild aftertaste of sweet cream
Texture: medium to full bodied, clearly this is a sipper, some noticeable booziness, smooth on the tongue, finishes sweet and creamy
Overall: I believe Carton did what they were going for and I believe I could come back to.

Pour at Snallygaster 2025. Poured a very hazy orange color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was floral notes, some orange, and some fresh, green coffee. Flavor was a bit too much coffee, bitter. Alcohol is way too high for what this is, there's zero reason for this beer to have an ABV in the double digits.

Tasty beer and not to sweet.
Clear shiny golden and a fine head.
Ok intensity in the aroma.
Decent sweetness and a fine carbonation level.
Pleasant coffee profile. Also malty, fruity and herbal.

Can into a teku showing well filterered amber brown with no head. The nose shows moderately intense notes of clean coffee bean. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Moderately intense flavors of latte and a mild ale bitterness on the finish.

Medium dark amber color. Big malty sweet nose of green pepper, coffee and cream soda. Sweet, heavy, malty, like a very body cream Soda with a splash of coffee. As good as I can expect for what it is, but what it is, is hard to imagine it can be good
