750mL bottle at the Cellar, 2/17/24. Dark, inky, viscous, clear, little bit of tan bubbles. Lots of vinousness, big oak, light char, heavy lead and light maple-soy. Very intense smelling with less sweetness than some of the entries in this series, but no booze. Light soy, light char, maple, something like peanut butter almost with almond and vanilla. Lots of crazy flavors including, of course, spicy bourbon. Thick, rich, not too sweet, not boozey. I wonder where the crunchy, roasty nut flavor is coming from. Port-like acidity contributes good balance, though at the cost of being just a bit grapey.

On tap at Side Project. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is intense port, licorice, molasses, oak, roast. Slick body, dark fruit, oak, port, dark chocolate, molasses, licorice, enjoyed this.
