Oak Aged Missouri and Oregon Wild Ale with Cherries
Coexpressionalism is a collaboration brewed with our friend Trevor Rogers of de Garde Brewing in Tillamook Oregon. This Lambic-inspired beer expresses the house characteristics of both Side Project and de Garde by brewing a turbid wort with aged hops and fermenting it entirely in a French Oak Foedre with a blend of our cultures. After aging for 2 years, we naturally conditioned this blend for 6 months until it was ready to be shared with you.

750mL bottle at the Cellar, 2/14/24. Clear, derp ruby-cranberry. Ring of pinkish bubbles. Beautiful cherry with big lemony-yogurty lactic acid behind it. Dry, big tart cherry character. Some punchy lactic acid. Juicy, fruity, but very acidic despite the lovely cherry. Acidburn in the finish. Malty, juicy but still too sour (acetic) for my soft palate these days.

Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours ruby with small white head. The aroma is cherry skin, oak, funk, spice. Thin body, cherry, oak, acidic, funky, very nice.
