Bottle sample at the Mead Museum, pours a clear golden blonde. Aroma brings out a more floral, almost citric character to the honey. Flavour is quite sharp, with a citrusy character to the honey, some floral notes, richly sweet and alcoholic. Unusual but this works well. Very good.

Pours clear, medium colored golden blonde. Scent is very lavender forward, lots of herbal aspects, kindof overpowering the base mead . Taste is full, smooth and deifnately sweet. Lots of herbal (lavender) aroma. Still, honey is recognizable. Alcohol a bit too high and a bit too much on top. In a way, I really don't like meads (or other drinks) this herbal and fairly unbalanced, on the other hand, I get the appeal, and it's not bad at all... A very special mead that sure is a great devider I supose.
