Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is pretty heavy on the cognac with oak, dark malt, dried fruits, some vanilla and alcohol. Hint of chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitterness. Medium body with hefty carbonation that gets in the way a bit. Not the smoothest but aromatically fine.

Bottle. Light gusher. Color: Dark copper, frothy beige head. Aroma: Dark dried fruit, Cognac. Taste: Quite strong Cognac. Grapes. Boozy. Cognac is, like the Eggens Vatgerijpt Jamaicaanse Rum, overwhelming the base beer. Dark dried fruit and caramel malt at the background. Over medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Very slightly vinuous tartness. A bit too much carbonation for this kind of beer, taking away some of the flavors. I'm a fan of Cognac BA beers,, this one is ok but definitely not one of the best
