Draught keg at Martin Bros Micropizzeria, Leicester. Hazy light to mid-gold. Deep notes of melon, some pineapple. Taste gives a bittersweetness, light banana, papaya. Unusual but good. Thick body for the ABV with carbonation of the heavy side. Vanilla notes in the finish. Love it.

Can from Cornelius. Pours murky yellow to orange with a thin white head. Tropical fruit and citrus aromas. Light pine maybe. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Can from Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant. Milky golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of melon, white bread and vine tomato. Flavour of straw, coconut cream and lemon sponge. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Punchy and fruity. It’s good but didn’t have the Verdant magic I was hoping for.

Appearance is very murky soup, with a small clingy head. Aroma is hop resin, grassy murky hops, pineapple, tropical fruit, intense fruity notes. Taste is fruit milkshake, lots of tropical fruit, pineapple and grapefruit, almost a coconut hint, mango, passionfruit, oniony hoppy hints. Full-flavoured, sweet fruity finish. Very nice.

Can from The Star & Garter, Bromley. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Nose is gooseberry jam, lime,tropical fruit, grapefruit, white grape. Taste is gooseberry, grapefruit, tropical fruit, lime,lychee,white grape. Fruity hoppy mouthfeel. Very good.

A hazed milky yellow ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with loads of tropical fruits, resinous hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. On tap at La Binouze.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6.5%. Opaque pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Distinct aroma of various tropical fruits, esp. mango. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel. Flavour of citrus and tropical fruits, low bitterness.
