On tap at Cardinal Pub, Stavanger. Opaque red to purple colour, pink head. Aroma and flavour of blackcurrants and moderate lactic acid. A combination of grandma's blackcurrant squash and "fruits of the forest" yoghurt.

Can. An unclear red beer with a lightly pinkish white head of the creamy kind. Some lacing. Sourish, blackcurrant aroma with a grassy, spiced touch. Quite doughy. It's quite tart on the palate, with a decent carbonation. Medium body fullness. Lots of blackcurrant in the flavor, with doughy malts in the back. Lasting finish. Tastes too much like blackcurrant this one. Sure not my kind of drink. 220417

Pours hazy red with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt and black currants. Taste is light to medium sweet and light sour with along malty and black currant finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Cloudy dark reddish body, patches on the surface, fragile lacing. Mild smell of mid-tart berry skins. Flavoured with red currant , semi- tart, distant moments of fruit, dough and lactose. Mid-tart and dry berry finish. Drinkable, did not empty the glass though. (Tromsø 15.03.2022).

Sure-serien til Rygr er interessant å følge, og denne 0,33 boksen snappet jeg opp i vinterferien i Bergen: fin rødfarge, lett uklar og skummet holder seg bra. Saftige inntrykk fra solbærene, og det lille lactoseinnslaget er faktisk kledelig. Mild bitterhet. En slank og forfriskende sommerdrink selv i midten av mars.
