Cask at The Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours hazy muddy brown colour with a thick pale tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, earthy, woody, toasty grains, brown bread, cacao nibs and coffee beans. The taste is initially dry, touch of bitterness , woody, nutty, coffee beans, cacao nibs, some tangy dried fruits, raisin, sultana, resin, varnish, slight soapiness, brown bread and leather with a drying, woody finish. Average body and mode, fluffy cask carbonation. It ain't a looker but get the feeling this was fairly bottom of the barrel. Saying that it was pretyu robust and flavourful.

[Cask at the Counting House (JDW), Glasgow.] A hazy chestnut coloured pour with a ring of cream coloured head; spicy aroma; sour fruity taste with a malty body; and a sweeter finish with an aftertaste of plum jam.

Copper to brown in colour with quick fading head. Nice flavour. Very nice malty taste. A bit thin and watery though.
