Bottle from Luvians Cupar. It pours hazy dark brown with a medium off -white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, sappy, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, cherry, fug, slightly herbal, splash of jager and some warming spice. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, touch of alcohol warmth, tannin, woody, toothy, loads of dried fruits, raisin, sultana, touch of cherry, fig, herbal accents, leafy and spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quite well done. Drinks well.
