A rich and decadent stout brewed with masses of cacao nibs and orange peel. Fresh orange notes cut through the sweet chocolate flavours, backed up light roast and dark chocolate notes on the finish and a silky smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Alexandra, Derby. Pours almost black with minimal off-white head. There’s a vague fruitiness in the aroma, but not much else. In the mouth it has a sweet textures, with the main flavour being juicy oranges. Also traces of dark fruits and milk chocolate, with hints of sourness too. Finish is sticky, and somewhat fruity. It’s a decent enough stout.

Third of a pint on cask at Doncaster brewery. Medium creamy tan head. Clear almost black pour. Hint of orange and chocolate.

Cask at the Whalebone, Hull. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Aromas of chocolate orange and sour fruit. Taste is sour and roasted bitter. Tangy finish. might be on the turn.
