This Vietnamese-Style Coffee Stout is inspired by the popular Vietnamese coffee drink called “Ca Phe Sua Da” (cah-fe sah dah). It's a thick and decadent brew just like a coffee milkshake and contains brown sugar and cream extract.

The Aromas are dark sweet malt, with hints of molasses coffee roast. Had a very short-lived, fizzy tan head. Flavors are Lake Nose, sweet with some bitterness and carbonation to balance. For being a coffee Stout there's not a lot of coffee. This doesn't taste much like the Vietnamese coffee that I've had at their restaurants. Pretty average sweet coffee Stout to me.

473ml can @ Signor Smith, Helsinki. Poured deep brown in color with a dense creamy off white head. Indeed has a lot of coffee in the aroma. But also good amount of syrup and sweetness. Roasty notes along the nice coffee notes that is everywhere. Too thick and sweet to be really enjoyable though.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a large, five centimetre tall rich brown head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of canella, roasted malt, condensed milk, light nutmeg and a ton of roasted malt, all with some coffee as well and tons of alcohol and sugars. Full-bodied; Strong rich roasted malt notes dominate with a lot of coffee, caramelised sugars and a dose of spices ranging from cinnamon, nutmeg, anise and fennel is around as well with a large alcohol bite, especially at the end that stretches out the malts. Aftertaste is very rich, incredibly complex and super long-lasting with the roasted malts, grain, alcohol, toffee and caramelised sugars the most pungent by far. Overall, a very nice beer with a lot of flavours and the ultra rich malts and alcohol which dominate, but help out everything in the process. Great to sample and well recommended if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased early in the day from Hy-Vee in Omaha (Papillion), Nebraska on 07-October-2019 for US$4,99 sampled a few hours later in my hotel room here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 07-October-2019.

On tap. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of graham cracker, creamy coffee, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with more fresh earthy coffee and vanilla. Very nice
