Instant Regret Beer is an award-winning aromatic porter, brewed by the alchemists of pain at Brewsters Brewery and violated by a 2 million scoville chilli extract.

This is the very opposite of refreshing, chilling it will make absolutely no difference whatsoever. Seriously, it is infinitely hotter than we could have ever imagined. Arguably we’ve made a terrible, terrible mistake and you would be wise to have a milk/ice-cream chaser very close to hand. Your mouth will never forgive you. It’s pure hell fire that will mercilessly punish your senses and we won’t even bother to mention the internal strife it’ll cause.

Bottled. Kind of deer rubyish brown, close to black colour. Aroma is chili. Chili. And more Chili. Flavour is pretty much the same. This was one of the most insane ideas ever. And well, looking at the other raters score, the brewery probably knew what was coming.

Sampled from a 0, 33 bottle, at home with Steven sep-16: clear coca cola coloured with a 10-second foam. Aroma of chili and grilled bell peppers. "Bloody hell", Steven gasped as I was beginning to hyperventilate. Impossible to rate taste and palate in a beer when your palate is on fire. In addition your intestines will experience a lingering afterburn. Thin bodied is my only compliment. What’s the point of making and marketing this truly offensive beer? I’ll put a toilet roll in the fridge before going to bed, just to be on the safe side.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Fjøløy 02.09.16. Nutty brown. Persistent pale brown head and lacing. Superb and inviting aroma of medium dark malt, berries, cherry jam, chili jam and something undefineable lingering in the background. Very hot chili. Exceptionally hot chili. And lingering on. Unquaffable. Can’t manage to drink more than one sip. Lips are burning.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of malts and chili, some rubber notes. The flavour (after a small sip) is nothing but an intense and vehement chili burn. Undrinkable, but a few milliliters would be nice to add to a chili con carne.

Mama mia. How to describe this….it can be done in two ways. Looks good with a fine clear deep brown and subtle red color. Solid thick off white head. Good lacing down the sides of the glass. Smooth nice aroma. Solid body and a fine carbonation. Something is missing right? Flavor…Do you wonder? CHILLI CHILLI CHILLI CHILLI and it buuuuuurns. No chance in the world that I could end this one.
