A tawny-coloured classic best beer, with well-balanced malt flavours, finished with a hint of blackcurrant and a slightly spicy, sweet aroma.

Cask at the Rose and Crown, Sandhurst. A pale chestnut pour with a thin cream head; malty aroma; caramel malt taste with a light spicy bitterness; and a long malt finish. A very satisfying malt-lead bitter - the best of it’s kind I’ve come across for a long time.

Cask gravity at Six Bells Woodchurch. Amber copper colour. Lasting cream head. It’s a slightly yeasty best bitter reminds me of Harveys best bitter. Pretty decent

Cask gravity @ Battersea BF 2012. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor with hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.
