Described as an ’Unfined smoked rye beer’ on the clip in the Feathers, a Nicholsons pub in SW1 - Jan ’12. Served on cask into a half pint UK glass to a copper /amber colour with a fluffy white head. Nutty, very mildly smoked, dried fruit aroma. Quite a sweet malty flavour with background smoke and rye flavours leading to a bitter aftertaste. Thinnish body.

Cask handpull at Old Buttermarket Canterbury. Drunk outside in freezing cold to get a signal. Hazy russet colour thick beige head. Yes a good amber red rye beer. Really likeable and drinkable. Spicy rye aroma. Touch of stinging hop but also lots of turkish delight fruit too. Impressive. Great condition too. excellent beer
