Bottle split in Archland, thanks to TBone, 11/04/15. Hazed amber orange with a decent beige cap. Nose is tangy dark fruits, soour fruit, spice, pissy vinegar notes. Taste comprises tangy fruit peel, spice, candied fruit, orange rind, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate but offers little depth for the ABV.

Bottle shared in Bermondsey - thanks to TBone. Pours unclear golden-brown with a tight, creamy beige head. The nose holds some tangy citrus, dry bread, grain. Medium sweet flavor, a little boozy, with some woody dryness, more tangy citrus, orange rind, earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Warming finish with some tangy wood and citrus, faint caramel. Novel. So so.

Bottle thanks to TBone. Hazy brown lasting beige head. Almost whiskyish malty aroma. Brown malt in mouth touch of spiciness on the finish. Ok.

Draught @ Villi Wรคinรถ
Aroma feels a bit contaminated with earthy notes, some berries and vinegar. Flavour has berries, some vinegar, earthy notes, licorice, hints of vegetables, oaky notes and cherries. Distant lactic notes that get stronger towards the end of the glass. Unexpected but decent.

(Keg at SOPPโ€™13, 20130725) The beer poured deep reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had malts, molasses and mildly yeast. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sweetness, toasted malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Closer to doppelbock than a Belgian brew. Not really bad.
