Ale de Feu boucanée.
Cuivrée écarlate aux rondeurs bien caramélisées par le feu de bois et sa boucane. Son amertume s’entremêle dans une valse d’abricot, de pêche et d’agrume où s’exprime une levure britannique exubérante et visiblement heureuse.
Notes : Caramel, agrume, abricot, tourbe, fumée.

On tap at the source. Upfront smoke, bacon, bready cereals, light straw, bready. Hints of brown sugar, burnt sugar, even a touch of smoky soy. low to medium bitter. long, smoky finish.

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy amber. Aroma and taste are little smoke, caramel, malt, grass and hops. Light smoky finish.

07/12/2018 - draught sample shared with rubin77 @Ermitage taproom. Copper colour, small tanned lacing. Grains, caramel, bit bready, bit fruits, sometimes hint of smoke. Taste is malts, bit sweet, nice smoke, bit fleshy smoke, bit bitterness. OK.

Keg at ermitage. A mostly clear amber orange coloured pour with a sticky beige head. Aroma is sweet breads, brown sugars, unrefined sugars.. Hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of layered brown malts, burnt sugars, toffee, light smoke,. Autumnal leaves. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation,. Ok. Little woody spice in the finish.

F: big, bit tan, good retention. C: dark coppery, hazy. A: malty, caramel, bready, red fruits, citrus, almost no smoky tones here. T: malty, bready, caramel, grassy, dry on the palate, nice touch of smoke taste, bit earthy, medium to full body, medium carbonation, nice balanced enjoyed, tasting sample shared with Bierridder_S @ Nanobrasserie de l'Ermitage Taproom in Brussels.

Keg at L'ermitage Brewery tap, 08/12/18. Deep amber with a light reddish glint and topped with a beige cap. Nose is mellow smoke, dusty fruits, brown bread, toffee. Taste comprises smoked malts, fruit cake, light spice, brown bread, stewed fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough smoked affair.

Draft at Ermitage, Brussels. Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of citrus, light fruits and malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with high carbonation.
