Cask. Old Spot Inn, Dursley, Gloucester. Clear amber dark gold. Fully lacing white foam. Nose has sweet toffee malt. Tea leaves. Nettles. A little sweet with a leafy earthy bitterness. Tasty and drinkable bitter.

Cask, handpump at The Old Spot, Dursley, Saturday12th September 2015. Deep chestnut great clarity, little or no head. Very traditional bitter, tangy, fruity and a very British bitterness. Loved it. A6 A5 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7

Cask at GBBF 2010. A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, as well as a light note of bread.

Cask@GBBF2010 (notes say thanks yespr!). Coppery amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, wooden, grassy, herbal and caramel malty. Flavour is the same, but the maltyness is rather crispy. Pleasant.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild acidic and hoppy. Bitter, slight fruity and subdued sweet flavoured. Bitter and mild fruity into a slight bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at Ric’s pub, the multi-award winning Old Spot in Dursley, Gloucs. A well-balanced amber bitter with a fruity aroma and hoppy palate. Very drinkable.
