Bottle from Melbicks Garden Centre, Coleshill. I didn't realise it was Westons. Its made for Alex James but not clear from the bottle who bloody made it. Like a secret valentine...*sick emoji*. Pretty decent cider though. Somewhat sessionable in character although borderline at 5.5%. You want to avoid Scrumpy Jack territory in my experience! Look: clear gold, some brief fizz, standard. Aroma: classic Westons but decent wood and apple skin come through. Taste: sweet and tangy apple juice and core, bittersweet notes, medium dry Palate: light to medium bodied, light oily, a touch drying.

Bottle from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours clear straw yellow with no head. Aromas of light sour apple. Taste is more of the same. Light tangy finish.

Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Clear pale golden colour, fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, some skin. Taste is sweetish, fruity, apple, alittle skin and core, with a funky note, light tannin and tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Co-Op Shrewsbury. Pours a clear pale golden yellow, sparkling. Apple skin aroma, breezy green apple hints. Gently pop of carbonation on the palate, medium dry in feel not hugely fruity but presents a pleasant easy-drinking feel, drying close. Seems like the kind of cider Alex James would put his name behind. Decent overall.
