Tallboy can at Jewel, cheaper that a similarly sized Clamato Michelada. Piney and flowery hop smell as I pop the tab. Yellow pour is not as hazy as I'd expect. Supports a big fluffy head. A close-up sniff brings up lots pineapple and papaya juice. And then some tangerine. Taste lives up to the fruity nose. Mainly orange juice, close to an orange Fanta. Which can be a nice change of pace. A slight bitter edge comes up the side of the tongue. Alcohol is not noticed, so it's going to be sneaking up on me after I've finished this. Kind of likeable.

Can at RAF Lakenheath, so I have no idea how long it took to reach here, and I forgot to check the date. Cloudy yellow color white head. Aroma of mixed citrus and light pineapple. Taste is more on the stonefruit side of things, scant bitterness. Variation on a theme.

Gas station beer. Big can, not excited about it, I might scroll past yet another juicy/hazy but I'm a whore for new rates. Smell is super citrus, almost like orange juice, a hint of grapefruit mixed in, definitely a coconut element, possibly guava, its getting into tropical drink territory, pina colada-esque, and that's super weird. I almost think I can smell rum. What the hell is going on with the nose on this one?! I can't even judge if I like it or not, I mean, at one level it smells good and is surprisingly complex, but then, should a beer smell like a tropical rum drink? Moderately hazy golden color, full head. Flavor is weird, kinda gross. Really really sweet, sugary and juicy malt notes, heavy alcohol notes, lingering coconut and mango flavors. The combo of sugariness and alcohol gives this a distinct note of cheap malt liquor of the Camo variety, but mixed in with a bunch of weird tropical fruit flavors. Are these hop flavors? 3 of these, Phato, Lotus, and Sabro, are new to me, maybe strata too. So I don't really know what these contribute, but I don't taste any mosaic, chinook and galaxy. And of course I'd expect chinook to be used for bittering but this isn't bitter, because these stupid juicies don't do that. It sure could use something to balance it out. At best, the fruitiness helps make the sugar-alcohol layer more palatable compared to a cheap malt liquor - so that if you really wanted to force yourself to drink this for the sake of the 9.5% alcohol wallop, you could manage it without overly grimacing. But would you really do that? Or would you taste it, rate it, and dump it? Well shit I'm trying to catch a buzz on a Tuesday night, so I guess I'm drinking it.

Can, best before April 2023, drunk 10/31/22. Not all that hazy, golden-honey. White head is large, receding steadily to cover. Pretty good juice character in the nose to the point where I wondered if there was fruit in it. Floral notes and clean malts with no alcohol. Juicy citrus, almost like powdered Koolaid. Soft, decent attenuation on the malt, surprisingly low booze, but just weird, artificial, sugary flavors. Strange one.

Draft at Jumpin' Janet's. Golden pour, light cloudiness, sparse head. Tropical aroma, melon, hard candy, artificial fruit flavoring. Taste is mildly sweet, fake fruity flavors, candy. Sticky. It hold it's ABV well though, hard to believe it's 9.5%.

Stovepipe can from 7-11. Hazy orange with a large, soft off-white head. Nose is heavy fruit punch (artificial), pineapple. Flavor is also very punch-like, with the addition of some peach, some orange pulp. Drinkable, but not something to seek out.

Can from Food Dog at Lake Monticello. Pretty clear for a hazy, yellow straw, small head. Maracuja, pineapple, peach - smells like fruit punch. The flavor is also a bit like pineapple-juice-heavy fruit punch; a bit too sweet. Based on the taste plus the label saying with natural flavors, I'm guessing this isn't all from hops. Interesting, but doesn't work too well for me.

Can - found this on sale at the grocery store, so why the fuck not - tastes like they added apricot flavor or something to this - tastes like Magic Hat #9 in hazy ipa form - indistinct, dull hoppiness that finally gets a little kick to it on the tail end - kind of watery - there is a little warmth on the tail end, but if this is actually 9.5%, I’ll eat my hat.
