At the Orchard, Bristol 2/11/2018. Hazy gold in colour, with a touch of carbonation. This was an intensely dry perry, with some oak wood notes and a finish that was more akin to a dry cider than other perries. Interesting...

Cask at the Kings Arms - London. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a few bubbles on top. The nose has lightly musty, ripe pear, apple peel, lemon. Light sweet flavour, with intense dryness, some must, mellow juicy pear, lemony tartness, hay. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Monumentally dry on the finish, a little chalky, with some grassy bitterness, ripe pear, more apple skins, slight tartness, funky cellar. Novel, but too dry overall.

Cask at GBBF 2010. An unclear yellow perry with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of beech wood smoke and pears. The flavor is dominated by pears, and the mouthfeel is EXTREMELY dry.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 10, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate pear, apple notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, and so extreme dry dry that you will not belive how dry dry this perry is - THIS IS DRY ;O). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat flat. [20100803]

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. One of the most amazing perries I’ve had. Gold, some ripe fruit on aroma. Some pear liquerness in flavour, then this attack of dryness. Just dry as hell. So dessicating. Ripe pear and pear drop finish. Definitely the drinking experience of the festival for me.
