Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå). Golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is floral, mild yeasty and some sweet malts. Flavour is floral, mild yeasty and some slight sweet malty notes. Pretty much like a typical de proef pale Belgian ale. Not that much elements of Kveik or any kind of traditional ale here...

Big 750ml bottle kindly shared by Finn at a first of May lunch. A rocky, off-white head to a hazy amber body, rings of lace down the glass. Quite inviting smell of doughy fruit, earth and kveik yeast. Rounded taste profile of dried fruit, juniper, grain, and integrated kveit yeast. Prolonged finish. Fine depth and lunch friendly. Bottle, 75cl corked. An unclear orange colored beer with a white head. Delicious aroma with bread, biscuits, orange marmalade, funk, herbs, pineapple hints and some hay. It's full to medium bodied, softly carbonated, soft and smooth, with lots of delicious flavors. Orange marmalade, hay, thyme, rosemary, biscuits and some bread in the flavor. Medium length flavor. 8-4-7-4-14 Bottle, half a year before bbd. Pours slightly hazy, with a big creamy head. Aroma is tart fruity kveik, with juniper and light smoke, as well as grain, sugar and heather. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity kveik, juniper and raw ale, as well juniper, smoke, wet hay and heather. Herbal citrusy notes and earthy minerals in the finish.

ABV: 7.5%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, husks - chaff (avner), light to moderate yeast, kveik, juniper - wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, husks - chaff (avner), grain, pale malt, yeast, oak - juniper notes, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
