355ml can from Beer Republic. Deep golden color. Thin wtite head. No BBE found. Malty and resiny aroma with some toffee and sweetness. Bitter finish, herbal, resiny hops. Bit faded but still quite nice to drink.

Rust and grapefruit. Probably one of the better examples out there of a red IPA, but doesn't mean I like it. Just that it hybridizes well like Species. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Bitter and caramel finish. Can.

15th March 2019, draft US Pint in The Cellar, San Clemente. The first beer of the day on my bus crawl (Orange County Bus 91). Red hue to the dark amber body, beige head that didn't last very long. Slight malty nose (caramel) with some mild citrus esters trying to come through as the beer warmed in the glass. The taste had a deep malty molasses flavour, again as it warmed orange and other citrus traces began to show up. OK, and a good start to my mission.
