A light coloured, easy drinking ale, brewed with a new variety of hops – Bodicea, giving the ale its distinctive characteristics. An extremely refreshing drink

Originally brewed in recognition of the Lake District Opsrey Project, Fish King was extremely well received by our customers, so much so we have brought it back for another year.

Has a sweet bitterness, and coupled with a fine body this is an excellent cask ale.

Cask at GBBF 2007. a hazy golden beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty again with notes of caramel, but also a note of nuts growing towards the finish, which is dry and bitter.

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is lots of caramel, some wood and really smooth grassyness. Flavour is mainly nectar, caramel and wood in a really nice and harmonic balance.

(Cask at Post House, Liverpool, 25 July) Pale copper colour with a firm white head. Nose is fruity and hoppy with notes of lemon. Taste is fruity with lemon, grapefruit and a nice grassy, hoppy finish. Very refreshing and tasty.
