Old Sparky is the nickname of the electric chairs in Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Old Sparky is a Triple IPA, bitter as confession and sweet as redemption. The most heavily hopped AF beer so far, it took 80 days to ferment and mature to over 10% ABV. As mesmerizing and as horrendous as its electrical godfather.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is resinous hops with orange, pine resin, malt, grapefruit, touch of caramel, tangerine, bit candied with some alcohol. Flavour is medium sweet with a bitter boozy finish. Body is full. Decadent resinous hops, strong bittersweet flavour, thick and boozy. Very nice.

3/7/2020. Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Pours hazy pale amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of dank hops, sweet tropical fruit, sweet malt, pine, citrus, touch of toffee and golden syrup. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Liked this.

330ml bottle from De Moersleutel's online store. Hazed golden yellow with a decent sized white head. Aroma is moderately sweet with orangey fruity suggestions. Has a measured palatable sweetness on the palate, unlike many 10% IPAs, nice fruity chararacter, not too bitter with some pithy orange and grapefruit. Really quite drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy piney grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty piney hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty piney grapefruit hoppy bitter finish.

Flarra från bolaget i hemmet. Doftar åhhh klassiskt fint av tallbarr och apelsin. Här finns nog massor klassiska USA humle i. Smakar åhhh så klassiskt gott av lite kavring och söt apelsin samt svagt ek och jordkällare. Maltig. Sååå god klassisk USA dipa. Fasst är ju såklart inte tillverkad i Staterna . Men väldigt välgjord Dipa . Sköööönt dricka i dessa nya ängland tider.

Bouteille trouvee chez ze place to be de la bière à Lille : Bière des Halles. Robe dorée/ambrée, bulles fines et mousse blanche éphémère. Nez sur l'herbe, le pin, un côté boiséet résineux très engageant. En bouche ça se confirme avec une très jolie amertume, un alcool pas trop présent malgré les 10% abv, et une jolie longueur en bouche. Sans révolutionner l'ipa c'est une très jolie bière !

ABV: 10.0%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, citrus, grapefruit, fruity hops, hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, pibe, citrus - grapefruit, hop bitter, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming.
