Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home Black beer lasting tan head Peat smoke and dark chocolate aroma. more peat smoke in mouth . helps dry the beer out. dry malty finish. chocolate dark sponge cake. warming alcohol. I mean it's not as sweet as a lot of thd BramBrass beers. even though its peaty its OK and better than I expected.

Bottle from Beers@Moviefun. Cloudy black, stable, foamy, beige head. Intense aroma of fondant, praliné filling, prune, pear, iodine or actual medicine, beef stock, teriyaki, peated whisky, tobacco, espresso. Taste has sweet pear, date & prune; big malt body of dark chocolate, toast and coffee roast, tangible smoky & meaty umami accents surrounding it, slightly salty even. Earthy hoppy finish, lingering dark chocolate, dried fruit, smoke and warming peated whisky alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Excellent in taste and balance, a sheer Belgian masterpiece. Kudos, BramBrass!
