Chocolate & caramel notes from roasted malt collide with creamy, peanut butter flavor, creating a luxurious combination on the palate. Subtle sweetness, medium body & creamy mouthfeel give way to a smooth finish, providing a liquid dessert sensation for the senses. Cheers!

Peanut butter, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Dark brown with moderate light tan head. Mildly sweet peanut butter, chocolate, graham cracker malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Good body.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a clear, very dark mahogany color with a tight beige head and good retention. Fair lacing. Dried peanut butter aroma. The flavor is a good balance of dark malt, porter, dark chocolate and peanut butter. Not overly sweet. Medium body. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Only slight bitterness from the dark chocolate. A good, repeatable dessert beer.

Pours a deep dark brown colour and a beige head with a small layer retention. Aroma's: nuts for sure, but I don't really recognize peanut (or peanut butter for that matter), chocolate-ish, light roasted. Flavour is just lightly sweet, light bitter, with nuts. Rather thin bodied. Finishes a bit roasty, light bitter.

Can from a mixed six pack. Nose is certainly peanut butter, attractive olfactory. Big black pour with a decent tan head. Yes, peanut butter and a little salt. Easy drinking, not cloying. Hides its alky well. Decent porter uptake in the middle. Not bad for a flavored porter.

12 ounce can from Niemuth’s, 10/16/21. Dark orange brown, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of nuts, roast, bitter hops. Thankfully not artificial. Taste is peanut butter, chocolate. Simple but well executed.
