Bottle from the Misty Bottle, Skye. It pours hazy deep chestnut brown with a tiny white head head. The aroma is toasty grains, nutty, brown bread, toffee / caramel, biscuity malts and some dried fruits. The taste is firmly dry, toasted nuts, earthy, toffee, dried fruits, fruit cake, touch of spice, earthy, wood and leather with a drying finale. Medium body and average carbonation. Fairly toothy stuff. Ok, but not as drinkable as I would have hoped.

Thin tan head on a clear reddish brown slowly carbonating body. Toffee, malt & fairground aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the tongue thinning out to a clean back. Toffee, malt, vegetal & roasted tastes with a lightly hopped fruity finish. Nice.
