A barrel aged Stoutwine blended from Scotch Whisky, maple syrup, and Sauternes.
Taste: A rich malt body combines with dark chocolate before being overwhelmed by sweet sherry and lashings of spicy peat smoke. Gentle notes of oak pair with caramel and dark liquorice flavours, finishing with the character of freshly pulled Italian espresso and toffee.

Pours black, medium small tanned head. Scent is roasty, intense, whisky mostly, sharp, intense dry coffee. Taste is full, roasty, juicy chocolate, fine aroma from the whisky. Sauternes and maple very hidden to me. Not nearly as intense on adjuncts as expected. Sweet. Lovely, but I expected even more.

33cl bottle bought at the brewery. Pours pitch black with a moderate, beige head. Malty, roasty and somewhat boozy with notes of whisky and wood. Sweet, flavourful and desserty. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Was pretty good but the app deleted my notes so shrug. Remember sweetness from the sauternes and maple syrup, some apricot.
