Keg at Gollem, Antwerp, 07/12/18. Black with a decent tan head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is mellow roast, dark fruits, chocolate, spice, tangy fruit. Taste comprises fruit cake, spice, toffee, spice, chocolate, dried fruits, brown sugar. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow alcohol. Ok.

Draft at Gollem, Antwerp. Black with a big tan head. Aroma of licorice, dark chocolate, roast and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with light carbonation.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - Hackney, London. Day 3. Pours deep black-brown with a frothy tan head. Good and big, plenty of chewy chocolate, moderate roast, burnt butterscotch, some earth, baking cocoa. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation; decent condition. Warming finish, with notes of burnt sugars, scorched earth, charred toffee. Solid gear.
