Bottle. Clear amber (first pour, then unclear) body under a very fast disappearing head. Aroma is vinous with toffee, wood, dry fruit, red berries and a faint hint of anises. Taste is sweet and sour with malt, brown sugar, dry fruit, acidic red berries, mild wood and hint of sour drops. Can’t say that the spice part (caraway) is identified here, maybe just a hint in the aroma. Balanced body and rather acidic aftertaste. Not sure about this, nice in smaller amounts and has some Rodenback qualities but ends up a bit one dimensional at the end of the bottle. Not bad but I Guess it deserves some food to go with it.

Bottle. A lightly hazy amber colored beer with a dense beige head. Vinegar-sourish aroma with dark dried fruit, cherry and a touch of malts. It's full-bodied, tart and smooth on the palate, with a woody tannin touch. Some spices in the flavor, along with dark dried fruits, cherry and wood. Long sour, tart finish. Quite decent, but not very complex. 201107
