A copper coloured bitter which is moderately hoppy throughout. It has an excellent balance of malt and hops leading to a bitter finish.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern on 11th August 2009. Brownish amber with short lived white head that soon goes. Toasted malt notes in initial kick then hops become more abundant leading to quite a bitter finish on a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask, handpump at FFTMC, Oxford, 13-11-08 Pours mid brown, fruity beer with a decent enough tang. Doesnt really have anything about it which makes it stand out and so the fact that it was served a little too warm for my liking (no fault of the brewery obviously) has already made this a rather forgetable beer.
