Farmhouse Ales oder Saison-Biere wurden früher auf Bauernhöfen gebraut und dienten zur Versorgung der Erntehelfer. Diese Bauernbiere hatten einen relativ niedrigen Alkoholgehalt und waren mit leichten Säurenoten sehr erfrischend. Unsere Interpretation wurde mit einer belgischen Spezialhefe vergoren.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is malt, mildly spicy/yeasty with some soft floral and (ripe) fruity notes. A bit sweet with a light bitterness. Light to medium body. Saison in name only.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle@Lars - Light hazed gold with a white head. Grassy floral and herbal action, some straw, hay, wheaty notes, light to medium body, light floral grassy close.

04.11.2019 -- 0.33l bottle from rewe in weil, bb 04.2020. pours a hazy pale golden with a medium dense head. aroma of candy/belgian yeast, coriander, funk. flavour of coriander, slight candy, minerals, slight sweetness. light, easily drinkable.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Brauatelier Farmhouse Ale, Fläschen von Hit Ullrich, Berlin. - Helles Braungelb, gut trüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase mildes, schwach karamelliges Malz, zarte Zitrusfrucht. - Antrunk spritzig hefeweich und zart karamelmalzig mit dezenter herbaler Hopfung und sehr dezenter fruchtiger Note, die ein wenig an Altbier erinnert, etwas Zitronenschale. Gut rezent, leicht bis dünn. Im Abgang minimale Hopfenherbe. - Sehr leicht, beinahe wäßrig aber geschmacklich nicht uninteressant. Schöner Durstlöscher für den Sommer. (23.7.2019.)
