Bottle at home from Malt Attacks, Brussels, 27th February 2020. Pours rich, dark and thick. Aroma is salty liquorice, chocolate, liquor and barrel. Taste is smooth, rich, bit not sweet, musty barrel, liquor and liquorice, bitter, boozy finish. Fantastic BA stout

330ml bottle. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aroma of bourbon, dark chocolate, dark fruits. Taste has plenty of rich bourbon character, dark chocolate and malts, raisins, very bitter, and ashy sort of finish to it. Full bodied, smooth.

Flaska från SB. Nästan ett år gammal. Kolsvart med liten försvinnande mocca-färgad krona. Kärv och eldig old school impy med toner av fudge, läder, fat, salmiak, eldig bourbon, tanniner, kaffesump, mörk choklad och färska svarta vinbär. Stor kropp och massor av fatkaraktär i munkänslan. Legat till sig ett år men fortfarande ganska stor hetta. Sötman är näst intill helt överskuggad av kärvheten, salmiaken och hettan från fatlagringen. En kärv och kaxig old school, bourbon-forward imp stout som tål att sippas på. Mycket gott!

Thanks to Finn for sharing an expensive 330ml bottle with visionthing and me at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Shiny naked surface, fragile lacing, deep near-black body with a rustic glint. Attractive aromas of vanilla chocolate and oak. Powerful taste of chocolate, prunes, oak and molasses. Long tail with chocolate and dark fruits far behind. Warming down the swallow. Just lovely. 33xl bottle shared by Finn - thanks a lot. Pours dark, dark brown with a beige head. Smooth, roasty and nicely balanced. Bourbon, dark chocolate and a smooth and oily mouth feel. Delicious sipper.

Delt med Rune og Visionthing. Svart. Mokkafarget luftig skum. Daler sakte. Aroma av eik & lakris. Smaken tørr sjokolade. Ekstra tørr avslutning. Skikkelig bra!
