We are excited to bring you Fractal Riwaka. This is the first beer in Equilibrium’s history using our own hand selected Riwaka. Fractal Riwaka investigates the interplay between our newest Riwaka lot, our revised hopping processes, and simple pale malt base. Fractal Riwaka pours a resinous-hazy-straw yellow releasing aromas of tropical fruit, grasslands, and dank honey dew with complex flavors of passionfruit, assertive grapefruit, earthy grass blades, lime marmalade, and a hint of pink peppercorn packed in a flowable mouthfeel with a firm but rounded bitterness.

Canned 11/12/24, drunk 3/18/25.
Well, this one is older than intended, but I didn't look at the date before buying. Thankfully it is from the cooler.
Ultra-pale, near-turbid, white-gold with a mountain of off-white, dense/creamy head.
Tell-tale matchstick is front and center and well-done. Heavy mineral, white wine, unripe tropical fruit skin...Round white bread/honey-like malts gently balance. Very clean and well-presented.
Very juicy, fruity, soft, malty and round. Dense and creamy texture with above-average maltiness. Pineapple, guava and white wine. Will give this one some credit for being this old, but it still seems a bit on the sweet/flabby/dense side, despite the hop character being very well-done and the beer exceptionally clean.

Pours hazy yellow into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Citrus aromas. Medium bodied with sweet papaya and guava upfront turning to lemon poppyseed muffin in the medium length finish.

Hoppy and fruity, citrus, grapefruit, piney and grassy. Still more on the sweet side than bitter, nice.

Hazy pale yellow colour with lasting thin head. There's an interesting element of tangerine juice to this one. The only issue is the lack of bitter elements

Crowler from Bad Inverurie. Keg was just tapped. It pours cloudy pale gold with a decent white cap. The aroma is fresh and bright, zingy and tangy, limey action, roses lime cordial, gooseberry, melon, kiwi fruit, dank and green, weedy, mango, apricot jam and gummy candy. The taste is juicy and tangy, rather fruity stuff, fruit pastilles, gummy bears, tangy lime, limequat, lemonade, kiwi, melon, mango, dankness, touch of spice, sponge cake/brioche and dull alcohol. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite a vivid fruitiness. Tasty and moreish.
