Superficial festival rating @ Rebel Beer Fest 2024. Black body under a small beige head. Aroma of dark, roasted malt, chocolate and licorice. Taste has medium sweet, roasted dark malt, dark chocolate, licorice, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Straight forward, well made imp. stout.

Tap at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Color is very dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Some Licorice, chocolate and roasted malts. Simple but strong flavors.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20230816) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, ash, vanilla, wood and cocoa powder. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, whiskey, vanilla, ash, and bitterness. Aftertaste had whiskey, burnt malts and bitterness. A tasty burnt brew with notable but subtle barrel notes.

Burk på Lilla puben, Kalmar. Svart utan skum. Soja, rostad malt, choklad och lite sprit. Känns tyvärr lite tunn.

Drucken på fat på Brewskival. Stor och tung med fina aromer och bra balans. Choklad, kaffe, vanilj och bourbon. Gott

Yesterday. Plenty of nice barrel character. Whiskey and rum raisins. Roasty with a hint of acidity. Very nice but wouldn’t have minded it slightly sweeter.
