Windows Up is a single IPA made with Mosaic and Citra hops. It pours a hazy straw color and is topped with bright white beer foam. Piney aromas mingle with fruity notes, while hints of citrus fruit and an overall lingering resinous quality lend a touch of complexity to this dank IPA.

Bottle - well, another exceptional IPA from Alpine - hazy gold - dank aroma, with melon, mango, citrus - peppery, potent hop bitterness, loads of citrus flavor, some papaya - clean sweetness and lean malt structure - yes, please.

Bottle from Wintree East. Pours a clear, deep gold with a finger of foam on top that dissipates quickly. Pungent, orange and grapefruit, with some mold, crackery malts, kiwi and honey. Honey sweetness on the palate with a slighty sticky texture. Sweetness moves towards a dry finish that lingers. Very solid. --- Beer merged from original tick of Windows Up on 23 Apr 2017 at 22:14 - Score: 7. Original review text: Light tropical nose with grapfruit and kiwi. Clean with a honey like syrup on the palate. Not sweet, just viscous. Dry & bitter finish.

Kind of surprised and disappointed with this beer. To me I don’t pick up the hops listed at all, just bitterness.

(On tap @ Bottlecraft Liberty Station, SD, April 1/17) Pours lightly hazed pale amber with a white head. Nose is rather resinous and dank with pine to the fore, some floral tropical fruit type notes, grapefruit peel, a little caramel malt. Flavour is pretty pine forward, resinous, a little dank and weed-like, some orange and grapefruit peel bitterness, very subtly tropical, moderate caramel sweetness to the core, and average to above average resinous pine and citrus oil bitterness building into the finish. Medium body, slightly above average carbonation. Dank and on the bitter side of things with some decently robust malt, so slightly old school, but pretty tasty.

Bottle thanks to my mom! Post stats final beer. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a great pine note with a slight dankness, a hint of grass, a touch of onion and a light grain backbone. Flavor is similar with vibrant pine hops, some dankness, a bit of marijuana and a light grain backbone.

Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, decent carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts, light creamy sweetness. Super smooth soft hop skunk. Bright pine. Tangerine and orange, trace of peel. A little tropical fruits in the background. A slight bitterness emerging on the light finish. Beautifully clean and drinkable.
