(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 26 Aug 2018) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, toast and grass. Malty taste with bread, toffee, caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bock. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Color: Clear amber, off-white head. Taste: Moderate to medium sweet malty, hints of caramel, honey. Lightly bitterness, bit more bittery palate at finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Frothy mouthfeel. Not that bad, but not special too.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 09-2019. Almost clear dark golden color, big rocky head. Slight grassy hop, bit appelmoes, slight corn. Taste is much better with grassy hop, but also a bit of corn like grain sweetness. My comments look like there is a lot of brewing mistakes, but I think thats not the case. I think its just combination of ingredients. Its not that bad, just a bit boring.
