Trinkbar, langweilig. 9/7/8/7/12/7

From the can found at the local Lidl. Advertised as ‘craft beer’. Pour is reddish, fizzy, the head soon exits. Aroma is a soft scent of caramel, light cherry, wet gravel . Taste is bittersweet with a flat, metallic bitterness competing with a softer, sweeter and more alluring malty tone. Finishes raw, bitter with the warmth of poorly disguised alcohol. Overall, pretty raw. The rest went towards beer butt chicken.

Can(@Lidl's Craftbeer Paradise, Steel-City (Stahlhausen)) : Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing firm off-white head; moderate sweetish-bitter caramelly to toasty nose with fruity and Grass spots; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, only medium bodied; slightly lingering bitter fruity and malty finish with a slight alcoholic tartness in the aftertaste. Not too complex, but quite well quaffable...

Sampled from 0.5 l can from local 'LIDL', best before March 2019. Clear, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, a bit fruity aroma of caramel, strawberry and some toasted nuts. Quite sweet, malty, a bit fruity taste of caramel, strawberry jam and candied cherries, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent enough, definitely well-drinkable.
