Bottled. Black with small beige head. Aroma of tar and crude oil. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrup and tar, licorice and treacle. Warming finish.

Black with a dark tan head. Roasted malts, dark cocoa, coffee bean, dark ripe fruit. Full body but too much harsh carbonation. Finish is roasted and long. Nice. Pulling back the bubbles would help a lot.

Bottle from Wishbeer, delivered to my hotel in Phuket. Dark brown pour, little brown foam on top. Light smoke and roast in the nose, light tobacco. Taste has toffee, dark cocoa dust, chocolate and some slight acidity. Pretty drinkable with lots of ashy charcoal and not much sweetness. Light bodied for 8%, drinks decent and quite easy.

330mL bottle, pours black with a large tan head with long retention. Aroma brings out lots of oats, medium roasted malt, bitter dry cocoa powder and a healthy dose of hops. Flavour is moderately roasted and assertively bitter, with lots of roasted barley, oats, a bitter yet health dose of hops, and dry dark bitter cocoa. Medium-bodied, with a nice soft mouthfeel. Very good - impressive for a Cambodian beer.
